Primary Objective of the Role
The CGA Product & Sales Trainer & Coordinator is responsible for planning, delivering, and coordinating training programmes for iStore, Partner, iPro, and independent retail store staff. This role ensures team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to deliver exceptional customer experiences and contribute to the business's success. Training areas include onboarding, product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Coordination
- Plan and schedule monthly and quarterly training sessions across all locations.
- Allocate resources to support continuous staff development.
- Share and update training schedules, content, and focus areas regularly.
- Ensure 100% attendance and completion of required training by relevant staff.
2. Training Delivery & Content Development
- Conduct induction training for new employees, including product and process training.
- Deliver training on Apple products, services, and new product introductions (NPI).
- Develop and tailor training materials to meet the unique needs of various business units.
3. Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare bi-weekly training reports for SEED, LMS, and other relevant programmes.
- Ensure full compliance with SEED and 100% attendance for Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT).
- Monitor and report on training completion and progress across all locations.
4. Learning Paths & Continuous Development
- Design structured learning paths for iStore, Partner, and iPro staff.
- Facilitate key milestones, such as achieving Apple Champion+ certification within 10 months.
- Track and report on employee progress monthly.
5. Regional Training Management (RTM)
- Travel to regional locations across Africa (e.g., Botswana, Nigeria, Namibia, Zambia) to deliver training.
- Ensure regional stores and carrier teams receive relevant and up-to-date training.
- Conduct training for new store openings, covering SEED, LMS, and operational processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Requirement: Matric Senior Certificate.
- 1–3 years of experience in a training environment.
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and willing to assist in various tasks as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on people.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Apple ecosystem and related products.
- Proven experience in training, administration, planning, and coordination.
- Willing and able to travel into Africa

- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
