The ideal candidate will be able to manage quantity surveying tasks, design requirements, and oversee project management. Key Responsibilities:- Quantity Surveyor / Structural Engineer:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, material take-offs, and procurement schedules.
- Manage budgets, contracts, and project cost controls.
- Conduct site inspections and measurements as needed.
- Design:
- Interpret architectural and engineering plans for the design of custom roof trusses.
- Ensure structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the design team to optimize solutions for various projects.
- Project Management:
- Plan and oversee projects from concept to completion.
- Manage timelines, resources, and communication between stakeholders.
- Ensure projects meet technical, financial, and quality expectations.
- Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the construction or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of structural design, project management, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in design and project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
