Employer: Express Employment Professionals (Middelburg)

Our client in the chrome mining sector are looking for a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Burgersfort. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and repairing heavy equipment. The individual must have a keen attention to detail and a thorough understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner.
Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot equipment problems.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on equipment.

Required Skills

Hydraulic Fitting Experience: 5 to 6 years
Underground TMM Experience: 5 to 6 years
Underground Mechanized Mining Experience: 5 to 6 years
Experience With TMM, LHD's, Dump Truck, Drill Rigs, Utility Vehicles: 5 to 6 years
Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic Experience: 5 to 6 years

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications:

Matric/Grade 12.
Trade Test: Diesel Mechanic/Earthmoving Mechanic.
Valid Drivers License.

Required Experience:

Hydraulic fitting experience (5 years).
Underground Trackless Mining experience (5 years).
Underground mechanized minning experience (5 years).
Maintaining Trackless Mining Machinery, LHD's, Dump Truck, Drill Rigs, Utility Vehicles (5 years).

Other Requirements:

Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in an underground mining environment. Physically fit.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
