A Financial Manager is wanted in Johannesburg East!

Our client, a leading and highly respected company in the distribution industry, is seeking a Financial Manager to join their dynamic team based in Johannesburg East. As one of the largest distribution companies in their specialty, they are part of a robust holding group with more than 20 subsidiaries, offering the perfect environment for career growth and advancement.
 
Duties:

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
• Lead the budgeting process and work closely with operational teams to prepare detailed financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and ensure liquidity to support the operational needs of the business.
• Maintain robust internal control procedures and safeguard the company’s assets while improving efficiency and risk management.
• Provide insightful management reports and financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making at the executive level.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Qualifications:
  • A completed BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Completion of SAICA or SAIPA articles is essential.
• Experience:
  • At least 3 to 4 years of post-articles exposure.
  • It would be beneficial if you have experience in auditing distribution, logistics, or manufacturing companies.
