A consulting electrical engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their business.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Consulting Electrical Engineer to join our team and play a key role in providing engineering expertise for a range of projects.

As a Consulting Electrical Engineer, you will provide expert advice and innovative solutions to clients in various industries, focusing on electrical system design, analysis, and optimization. You will be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle, from initial concept to final implementation. You will be expected to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lead technical discussions, and ensure that electrical designs are efficient, cost-effective, and meet all relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership in the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical systems for diverse projects.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations.
Develop electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
Ensure that all electrical designs comply with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, and other Engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
Oversee the preparation of technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
Review and approve contractor designs, drawings, and proposals.
Conduct site visits for project inspections, testing, and commissioning.
Mentor Junior Engineers and provide technical guidance.
Provide ongoing technical support to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience in electrical engineering consultancy or a similar role.
Proven experience in designing and implementing electrical systems.
Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, PowerCAD).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and lead technical discussions.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
