Our client in the Bulk Materials Handling equipment industry is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join them in Randburg, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be able to manage all aspects of projects execution and manage a team of project engineers, administrators and site teams. At least 10 years’ experience is required. Salary range : R 62 000.00 – R 72 000.00 CTC pm
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
- Managing of Project team which includes project engineers, project managers, projects admin, site team.
- Plan and direct the department activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality, culture, ethics and legislative adherence.
- Maintain departmental culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory bodies.
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within specifications and allocated budget.
- Chairing of weekly projects progress meetings.
- Overall Management of assigned projects which includes the planning and programming, project duration management and relationship with all stake holders.
- Ensuring that all engineering and manufacturing processes are in keeping with the health and safety regulations of the state and the country.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- Diploma in Engineering, commercial or equivalent
- At least 10 years experience in general management / project management
- Understanding of materials handling systems will be advantageous
