Description
We are looking for an IT Assistant focused around supporting the Admin/Technician with
their duties as well as provide Technical Support to all our staff.
Duties include but not limited to:
Helping to install, configure and maintain the company’s IT framework Setting up hardware and software applications when required Installing and maintaining various peripherals as well as installing relevant updates and patches, database files, printers, routers, switches, operating systems such as windows 10 and 11. Handling customer and colleague queries regarding networks, systems and applications. Various ongoing tasks such as checking and proofreading content, data entry etc.Experience/skills needed Include but not limited to:
IT Technical Support Qualification or Equivalent Valid Driver’s License Basic Networking Knowledge Operating Systems such as windows 10 and 11 Should be comfortable and healthy to be able to use ladders, comfortable with confined spaces at times and stairs. Cabling experience will be advantageous. Be technically inclined. Good communication skills. Ability to work with general hand tools and equipment. Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to self-research and think outside the box Self-driven.The ability to communicate well with others, from end users to senior management will be a major advantage, as well as having an analytical mind and a strong urge to succeed. Our IT Assistant will often have to work hand in hand with other departments, and there will be times when the pressure will get a bit much.
