Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to join our clients Packaging team. The Technical Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Packaging Engineers in developing, testing, and implementing packaging solutions for their products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in packaging materials and processes, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:

Manage technical tasks and support engineers and the maintenance department with process and technical research, design, and development

Gather data and perform basic analysis to support production processes and engineering projects

Identify trends, issues, or areas for improvement through data evaluation

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

Identify and resolve technical and process-related problems in engineering projects
-
Contribute to the design and development of new or improved products, systems, and technologies
-
Conduct tests and experiments to validate process designs or proposed modifications
-
Identify inefficiencies in engineering processes and propose practical, data-driven solutions
-
Assist in the implementation of new systems or software aimed at enhancing operational productivity

Maintain accurate and detailed records of work processes, changes, and project outcomes
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2-5 years experience

Strong understanding of technical and engineering drawings

Solid foundation in fault finding and equipment testing techniques

Thorough knowledge of health and safety (H&S) regulations and safe working procedures

Technical expertise in process operations, including equipment, raw materials, moulds, downstream equipment, and run-in department
-
Familiarity with relevant quality systems and certifications as required by industry standards
