Description:

For the past 31 years, our client has been at the forefront of digital innovation in South Africa’s financial sector. Their innovative solutions have enabled their customers’ clients to apply for credit seamlessly using verified, real-time data sources including Bank Statements, Payslips and FICA documents from golden sources using APIs.

They also provide biometric facial recognition and digital identity solutions that combat fraud and enable secure, remote identity verification from any device.

They are a successful Fintech, and now due to their market positioning and enhanced product suite, they have entered a high growth phase that they need to capitalise on.

They have also entered new markets such as gaming and insurance. Plans are underway to expand into Africa and beyond.

· They are seeking a driven and experienced salesperson to join their team and help them grow their footprint in South Africa and beyond.

· Who has a demonstrated sales track record in Fintech or a similar market such as software sales (B2B).

· Has a network in Financial Services and actively builds their profile and grows their network.

· Who is skilled in using CRM tools and LinkedIn to drive pipeline and visibility.


Qualities

· Strong communication and IT fluency,

· In-depth knowledge of the Fintech industry and its current events,

· The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines,

· Skills in prioritising obligations,

· Attention to detail,

· Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behaviour,

· Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services,

· Great networking skills,

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills,

· Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.


Qualifications

· A proven sales track record is the key

· Tertiary education is an advantage


Experience

· Minimum 5 years of sales experience,

· Familiarity with the Fintech space is preferred,

· Presentation skills and demonstrated cold calling experience is a requirement,

· Demonstrated ability and experience in dealing with C-suite level individuals in medium to large corporates,

· Exposure to the Digital Identity technology is preferred


Roles and Responsibilities

· Own and drive the full sales cycle – from prospecting to closing,

· Identifying opportunities in new and existing sectors,

· Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services,

· Adjust content of sales presentations by studying and researching the audience,

· Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers,

· Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on sales activity,

· Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and new solutions,

· Collaborate with product and support teams to ensure customer success,

· Maintain fruitful relationships with clients to ensure they are retained,

· Contact clients to inform them about new developments in the company's products,

· Familiarising yourself with all products and services offered by the company,
