Description:
My client, haberdashery and fabric specialists based in Linden, is looking for an experienced and highly organised stock controller and storeman to join their retail team.
The main responsibilities with this position are maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring proper storage for their goods, receiving goods, pulling orders and stock requests, pricing, overseeing stock transfers, maintaining inventory management systems and collaborating with management and suppliers as well as internal departments to ensure a smooth operation.
Requirements:
- Receiving: 3 to 4 years
- Stock Control And Stores: 3 to 4 years
The ideal candidate for this position must have relevant stock and stores/warehouse experience and be computer literate. They must be highly organised and methodical and have excellent communication skills. Experience in the haberdashery or fabric arena would be advantageous. Must be able to work retail hours. Must be able to start asap.
