Senior Accountant - Fixed Term Contract

Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with expertise in using Sage 300 accounting software to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain financial transactions in Sage 300 accounting software
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements
- Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare tax returns and liaise with external auditors as needed
- Provide support to other team members and departments as required

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certification such as CPA is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with specific experience using Sage 300 software
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
