Cape Town - Kraaifontein: A well-established company specialising in premium consumer goods is seeking an Assistant Marketing Coordinator to support their dynamic marketing team. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual eager to grow within a fast-paced FMCG environment. Purpose of the Role : To provide administrative and operational support to the marketing team by coordinating promotional activities, maintaining digital platforms, assisting with content creation, and ensuring smooth execution of campaigns and brand initiatives.Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To
- Assisting in the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions
- Supporting digital content updates across the company website and social media platforms
- Maintaining marketing databases, image libraries, and asset folders
- Providing general administrative assistance to the marketing and sales teams
- Helping track and report on campaign performance and consumer engagement
- Coordinating marketing materials, samples, and point-of-sale items
- Assisting with customer communication on promotional offers and brand activations
- Supporting the team in planning and organising trade events and in-store activations
- Matric
- At least 2 years’ experience in a marketing support or administrative role (FMCG experience advantageous)
- Strong computer literacy, including Excel, Outlook; experience with Omni is an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
- A flair for digital and social media platforms
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure
- Friendly, proactive attitude with strong team spirit
