Job Specification
Reporting to Manager Workshop and Spares, the incumbent will be responsible for sales and all aspects relating to the sales of spare parts of the branch. Maintains customer registration. Controls movement of stock and supervises the clerical aspects of the stores documentation function. Reviews records compiled for ordering, shipped and received materials. Assesses stock supply and re-order status. Verifies requisitions for additional stock items, utilising the appropriate forms.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification
- 2 years relevant spare parts knowledge and sales experience
Key performance indicators include:
- Sales of spare parts
- Responsible for ordering of stock and direct orders
- Movement of goods recorded daily, accurately and on-time
- Stock takes recorded accurately and on-time
- Control of effective stock levels
- Identify and control old and stagnant/slow moving stock
- Stock rotations recorded timeously, accurately and on-time
- Inform clients on product offerings and application
- Secures quantity, quality, and sale of product offering
- Organise own work effectively to complete tasks on-time and per priority
- Report functional information on time and at the right quality
- Apply practices, policies, standards, procedures and methods consistently
- Always maintain store hygiene, housekeeping and safety practices
- Ad hoc functions relating to the above
