The Trade Finance Lead Generator (New Business Executive) is the deal dynamo responsible for fuelling growth across a dynamic product suite. With a sharp eye for opportunity and a knack for building high-value relationships, this person will be the powerhouse behind a robust sales pipeline. From cold outreach to credit approvals, they’ll turn prospects into loyal clients by offering smart, structured lending solutions that meet real business needs.
What you'll do
Sales & Pipeline Generation
- Consistently hit sales targets across multiple financial products
- Drive a high-quality pipeline with active deals totalling at least 150% of monthly targets
- Convert leads into clients with a benchmark average of two products per deal closed
- Ensure an average deal size of R800,000+ across a minimum of 10 deals monthly
Client Engagement
- Proactively seek out new clients through cold outreach and network-building
- Structure tailored lending solutions based on business needs and financial risk
- Cross-sell products across divisions by understanding customer pain points and goals
Risk & Compliance Savvy
- Navigate and apply credit, legal, and operational risk frameworks confidently
- Understand FICA and financial documentation requirements inside-out
- Maintain approval rates above 75% and drive quick turnaround times (10 working days)
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with credit, ops, sales, and finance teams for seamless deal execution
- Maintain transparent, timeous communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Be an ambassador for the brand, promoting values, team spirit, and professionalism
Self-Driven Development
- Stay sharp through ongoing upskilling and thought leadership
- Contribute new ideas and challenge the status quo with confidence

- Experience working with CRM tools and managing complex pipelines
