Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in Midrand has an opportunity available for a Senior Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Manager to join the Head Office team. The purpose of the role is to develop and execute Dis-Chem’s enterprise-wide talent acquisition and employer branding strategies, ensuring the attraction, engagement, and retention of talent across the business. This role plays a key part in shaping the organisation's employee value proposition (EVP), enabling Dis-Chem to remain a leading employer of choice in South Africa’s evolving workforce landscape.
Minimum Requirements…
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organisational Psychology
- 6 – 9 years in Talent Acquisition, with 3+ years in an employer branding or senior recruitment leadership capacity
- Experience working across complex, multi-site organisations (preferably in retail, FMCG, healthcare, or supply chain)
- Proven experience using data and tech platforms to modernise recruitment and branding
- Strong exposure to transformation, skills development, and equity legislation (EE, BBBEE, SD)
Key Responsibilities...
- Lead the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for critical, scarce, and future-fit talent across all levels.
- Drive implementation of proactive sourcing campaigns, internal mobility strategies, and talent pools.
- Develop and execute the Dis-Chem EVP strategy, ensuring it resonates with the company’s purpose, culture, and future-of-work aspirations.
- Partner with Brand, Marketing, Change, Culture, Communications, Transformation and teams to embed EVP messaging into all candidate touchpoints (career site, social media, recruitment campaigns).
- Design talent acquisition strategies and programmes that support Dis-Chem’s Transformation plan, track equitable sourcing and selection strategies that build diverse talent pipelines across the business.
- Develop and implement an inclusive employer branding strategy that authentically communicates Dis-Chem’s transformation commitments.
- Champion a seamless and differentiated candidate experience, underpinned by data, digital innovation, and empathy.
- Use data analytics and dashboards to identify trends, report on recruitment metrics (TAT, source effectiveness, offer-to-accept ratios), and support workforce planning.
- Ensure all recruitment practices align with company policies, POPIA, EE, and B-BBEE requirements.
