Our client is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team in Johannesburg and Pretoria . The company is a premium importer and distributor of authentic Asian food products, recently expanding into the South African market. With a focus on supplying high-end restaurants, boutique hotels, and gourmet retailers, they are looking for a dynamic sales professional with strong industry relationships to drive market entry and growth across Gauteng.
Responsibilities:

Develop and grow sales within the high-end foodservice and hospitality market
-
Leverage existing relationships with fine dining restaurants, premium grocers, hotel groups, and private chefs
-
Promote and sell premium food products from Asia (Japan, Korea, Thailand, China)
-
Travel across Gauteng to meet clients and secure new business
-
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s expansion plans in South Africa
-
Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to help shape local operations
Requirements:

5–8 years of proven B2B sales experience in FMCG, hospitality, or foodservice sectors
-
Existing network within the restaurant and hotel industry (essential)
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
-
Understanding of the types and volumes of food products ordered by hotels and premium foodservice outlets
-
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a startup environment
-
Passion for premium Asian cuisine is an advantage
