Job Purpose
This role is responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing accounts. The Account Manager will identify business opportunities, promote solutions, and build lasting relationships with clients to ensure long-term success and customer satisfaction.
This position suits a self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record in managing the full sales cycle, providing exceptional customer service, and adapting to fast-paced, target-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and approach potential clients to promote products and services.

Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Present, negotiate, and close deals with persuasive communication and solution-based selling.

Build and manage strong relationships with existing clients and partners.

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.

Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and client communications using CRM tools.

Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding and after-sales service.

Monitor competitor activity and market developments to inform strategy.

Prepare sales reports and provide feedback to management on client and market trends.

Maintain timely and accurate call reports and internal documentation.

- Account Manager: 2 to 3 years
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sales or account management role (required).

5 years’ experience in a sales-driven environment within the ICT or Telecoms industry (preferred).

Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.

Proven ability to manage long-term client relationships.
-
Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented.

Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
-
Strong administrative and CRM proficiency.

Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate trends and market dynamics.

Grade 12 / Matric (required).
-
Training or coursework in lead generation or account management (preferred).
-
Work hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30.
-
Extended hours may be required based on operational demands.
-
Monthly evening work during stock take.
-
Based at the Johannesburg branch.

Own transport required.

Frequent internal and external stakeholder interaction including advising, presenting, and relationship-building.
Requirements
Experience
-
