Description:
· Develop and revise detailed mechanical drawings, General Arrangements (GAs), and assembly plans using AutoCAD (2D) and Inventor (3D).
· Interpret design sketches, concepts, and specifications to create accurate technical documentation.
· Collaborate with engineers and workshop teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
· Maintain organized job files, drawing documentation, and revision control in line with internal standards.
· Assist with the preparation of bills of materials (BOMs) and related production documents.
· Participate in design reviews and provide drafting support throughout the project lifecycle.
· Ensure drafting work is completed accurately and in line with project timelines.
Requirements:
· National Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Draughting, or a related discipline.
· Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and Autodesk Inventor (3D) – Inventor proficiency is a mandatory requirement.
· 1–2 years’ experience in mechanical drafting (internship or practical training will be considered).
· Excellent attention to detail and technical drawing accuracy.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Exposure to ventilation systems, sheet metal design, or mining-related equipment is advantageous.
