Description:
Our client, a medium-sized engineering company based in Stellenbosch, specialises in the design, development, integration, implementation, and support of complex hardware and software systems. They are currently expanding their team with Senior Systems Engineers to contribute to the design and implementation of next-generation solutions for mission-critical telecommunication environments.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field.Experience:
7+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering or related technical roles. Telecoms and software knowledge will be a major advantage.
Key Technical Focus
Proven experience in designing and creating complex systems and solutions. Hands-on experience as a Systems Engineer in multi-disciplinary environments. Solid knowledge of technical project management principles and execution. Proficiency in IT infrastructure: hardware, software, networks, and system integration.
Key Competencies
Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills. Ability to manage technical complexity and cross-functional dependencies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Clear communicator who thrives in collaborative, engineering-driven teams. Passion for high-quality engineering in fast-paced technology environments.
