Description:
Key Responsibilities:Assist the Financial Manager in overseeing day-to-day financial operations of the dealership.
Manage and reconcile bank statements, cashbooks, and general ledgers.
Oversee debtors and creditors functions.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cash flow forecasts.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, etc.).
Support inventory and stock control audits.
Liaise with department heads on budgets and cost controls.
Maintain internal controls and assist with year-end audits.
Minimum Requirements: 24 years experience in a financial/accounting role within a automotive dealership environment (essential).
Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and dealership financial software (e.g., Automate, Kerridge, or similar).
Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
