Job Summary:
The Site Planner is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining detailed project schedules for construction projects that involve structural, mechanical, piping, and platework activities. This role involves developing comprehensive plans, coordinating with project teams to ensure timely execution, and monitoring progress to identify and resolve scheduling issues. The Site Planner will utilize advanced project management tools and techniques to optimize project timelines and support successful project delivery.

Tasks will include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Development and Management:
Schedule Creation: Develop detailed project schedules for all construction phases, including structural, mechanical, piping, and platework tasks. Ensure schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with project objectives. Activity Sequencing: Identify and sequence all project activities, defining dependencies and critical paths. Update and adjust schedules based on project changes and developments. Resource Planning: Collaborate with project managers and resource teams to integrate resource allocation into project schedules. Ensure resources are effectively utilized and available as needed. Monitoring and Reporting:
Progress Tracking: Continuously monitor project progress against the schedule, identifying variances and potential delays. Provide regular updates and forecasts to project managers and stakeholders. Reporting: Prepare and present detailed progress reports, including schedule performance, deviations, and impacts. Offer recommendations for addressing delays and optimizing timelines. Delay Analysis: Conduct analysis of schedule delays and disruptions. Develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and keep the project on track. Coordination and Communication:
Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and coordination of scheduling activities. Facilitate meetings to discuss scheduling updates and issues. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients regarding schedule changes, milestones, and potential impacts. Ensure that client expectations are managed and that schedule modifications are communicated clearly. Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all scheduling activities, including updates, changes, and communications. Ensure documentation is readily accessible for review and audits. Process Improvement:
