Have you managed multiple e-commerce stores focused on online sales and digital marketing?Our well-established UK-based client, a leading distributor of home textiles and furnishings, is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Specialist to support and drive the company’s ongoing growth.This role requires a versatile skill set, including web content creation, website design, SEO implementation, and the development of effective marketing strategies.Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience across a variety of e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, WooCommerce, Takealot, eBay, TikTok, and other key customer-focused channels. REQUIREMENTS- Matric
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, e-Commerce business
- Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-Commerce websites/portals
- Knowledgeable of the e-Commerce space that includes marketing strategies, various leading e-Commerce website builders (e.g. WooCommerce), listing development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends and usability best practices.
- Knowledge of various platforms (eg amazon seller & vendor, eBay, Wayfair, Tik Tok, Frasers, etc).
- Online sales strategies used to conduct digital sales or drive website conversions.
- Familiarity with web design and a keen eye to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical and multitasking skills.
- Skills needed: E-commerce, Marketing, Web Content Writing, Web Design, Marketing Strategies
DUTIES
- Write and edit product content that will be published on e-Commerce websites/portals
- Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance
- Work closely with different teams (product management, graphics, sales) to provide updated content that will be shared across e-Commerce platforms
- Provide support in other areas of Media Marketing, PPC, Email Marketing, SEO, Keyword Research, Google Analytics, Website UX, and Paid social media
- Identify SEO best practices regarding product listings
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Maintain internal PIM (content and image management platform)
