Description:
We are looking for an Accountant with completed SAICA articles who is looking to stay within an auditing / accounting environment, for an Auditing Firm based in Monument Park in Pretoria East. Requirements:- Grade 12
- Completed BCom Accounting or similar
- Completed SAICA articles
- 5+ years experience
- Fluent in Afrikaans
- Make sure accounting work is done correctly (the person will occasionally also have to read in the bank statements themselves when needed)
- Make sure payroll is correct (he or she may also be required to do it himself when needed)
- Handle questions from clients
- Compliance - make sure all taxes (PAYE, UIF, VAT, IT, WCA) are up to date and correct
- Prepare management statements and analyse the figures to look for improvements
- Assist the tax team where necessary
- Meet with clients to discuss results
- Implement corporate transactions where necessary
