Senior 180 Delivery Consultant – Insurance Recruitment (Brokers, Underwriters, Claims)
Location: Full-time, office-based in Parkmore, Sandton (working for a UK client)
The ideal candidate will have previous insurance agency recruitment experience and be a proven high biller, able to demonstrate a track record of billing at a high level. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior 180 Delivery Consultant to join a high-performing insurance recruitment team. Specialising in the placement of Brokers, Underwriters, and Claims professionals, you will take ownership of talent delivery, market mapping, candidate engagement, and campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities:

Senior Talent Sourcing & Engagement

Proactively identify and engage experienced insurance professionals across broking, underwriting, and claims

Lead high-quality candidate screening and pipeline nurturing

Act as a trusted point of contact for mid-to-senior level professionals

Advanced Market Mapping & Intelligence
-
Independently build and maintain strategic market maps across insurers, MGAs, brokers & claims TPAs
-
Track key hiring trends, senior moves, and competitor shifts
-
Produce intelligence to support BD activity and client consultation
-
-
Lead Generation & Opportunity Spotting
-
Recognise and surface high-value leads for the business development team
-
Inform consultants of active hiring signals and shifts in the talent landscape
-

Speculative Campaigns & Talent Showcasing
-
Craft and execute speculative CV campaigns for high-calibre candidates
-
Tailor messaging and insights to maximise candidate visibility and commercial value

Data Ownership

Ensure best-practice use of CRM and data tools for segmenting, tagging, and campaign targeting
-
Maintain fully GDPR-compliant candidate records and activity logs
-

Event Call-Out & Support

Lead targeted outreach for key events, roundtables, and networking opportunities

Ensure strategic follow-up and capture of new candidate relationships post-event

Campaign & Content Collaboration

Partner with marketing on email campaigns and LinkedIn presence

Contribute insight-led content for candidate attraction and market engagement

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in a 180-delivery recruitment role, ideally at a senior level within insurance
-
Previous agency experience is essential

Demonstrable track record as a high biller with evidence of consistently strong performance

Deep understanding or strong interest in the insurance sector, with the ability to engage mid-to-senior level professionals

Strong sourcing capabilities (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, headhunting)

Strategic thinker with the ability to build and maintain specialist talent networks

High attention to detail, data-savvy, and commercially aware
