Erection and Jigs Team Leader

Description:

Inherent Job Requirements:
Tasking employees on his/her daily duties.
Problem solving on the line.
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and the company's internal health & safety standards.
Excellent knowledge of Quality standards
To confirm that finished vehicles are completed in accordance with customer's requirements and thoroughly tested.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in assembly processes.
Planning daily schedule for section to complete daily production;
Checking of stock parts and if necessary an order is placed with the stores department
Ensuring at all times the department is in a clean and tidy condition.

Requirements:

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Grade 10 or equivalent
3 years’ experience in Manufacturing/Production Line Experience.
Strong knowledge of jigs, welding and assembling.
Expertise in erection procedures for heavy structures or components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and welding symbols.
Crane Operation certification
