Sheq Manager

Description:

We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards are consistently met within the organization. The SHEQ Manager will develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to promote a safe and healthy work environment while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
3. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop preventative measures.
4. Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
5. Monitor and analyze data related to safety performance and implement improvements as needed.
6. Manage the environmental impact of the organization, including waste management and emissions control.
7. Ensure that all quality standards are met and maintained through regular audits and inspections.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with relevant regulatory agencies and industry bodies.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
2. Certification in Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or Quality Management preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
4. Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
5. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
