Are you a Cape Town based digitally savvy social media professional with 1–2+ years of experience, looking to apply your skills in one of South Africa’s most exciting clean energy startups?
Earth & Wire is hiring a Social Media Manager to help drive our online presence and support our B2B customer acquisition strategy. This is not an internship level or purely brand-development role. You’ll be reporting directly to our Head of Sales , and your mission will be to create and execute content and campaigns that generate interest, leads, and real sales conversations .
We’re a lean, ambitious, and fast-moving clean energy company building South Africa’s next-generation electricity utility, and we’re looking for someone who can help communicate our vision and revolutionary offering online.
Based in our beautiful office in Gardens, Cape Town , you’ll be surrounded by the city’s best buzz and a team full of purpose and energy.
What You’ll Do:

Own and manage Earth & Wire’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and others.

Plan and execute smart, relevant, sales-oriented content (including reels, posts, carousels, short videos, testimonials, data insights, etc.).

Collaborate closely with our Head of Sales to align social campaigns with commercial objectives and lead-gen strategy.

Respond to DMs, mentions and comments — ensuring our channels are active, personal, and business-focused.

Keep our visual and tone-of-voice fresh, clean and compelling — positioning Earth & Wire as the most customer-centric power company in South Africa.

Monitor social metrics and adjust strategy to increase engagement, leads and conversion.
Who You Are:

1–3 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or a communications role.

Able to write clearly, concisely and persuasively with a creative and professional tone.

Comfortable being accountable to performance - this role is part of the sales engine.

Naturally organised, independent, and driven. We won’t be micromanaging you.
