Are you managing the "Product" portfolio within a INBOUND TRAVEL company developing, managing travel products and overseeing staff?Our position involves joining a well established Travel Company in Woodstock, using your experience to manage various product options, dealing with clients requiring inbound travel to Africa. Portfolio includes management and a variety of duties involving itineraries, services, and pricing. REQUIREMENTS- Matric and relevant Travel tertiary education
- Experience negotiating and procuring of travel packages for INBOUND TRAVEL for Southern Africa
- Deadline driven
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
- Strong organisational skills
- Negotiating and procuring services for travel packages
- Contracting rates and terms and conditions with suppliers
- Coordinating supplier visits - training by suppliers
- Attending local trade shows
- Developing and designing travel itineraries.
- Negotiating and procuring services from suppliers (e.g., hotels, airlines, tour operators).
- Determining pricing and budgeting for travel packages.
- Marketing and promoting travel products to potential customers.
- May act as a representative for a specific destination or travel theme
- Assisting the team ensuring rates are loaded correctly in the system
- Pulling information / reports
