Our client is seeking a hands-on, guest-focused Villa Manager to oversee and elevate the luxury experience at their stunning estate in Stellenbosch. You will be the heartbeat of the villa, ensuring every guest has a seamless, unforgettable stay, from beautifully prepared meals to top-tier service and memorable events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience: Welcome and host high-profile guests, ensure their needs are met, and manage their stay from arrival to departure.
- Events & Kitchen: Plan and coordinate events; manage kitchen operations; work with chefs; coordinate intimate dinners or special events.
- Administration & Budgets: Oversee inventory, track expenses, manage wine sales, and compile budgets.
- Team Management: Lead a small team of housekeepers, groundskeepers, and security staff, creating a culture of excellence.
- Compliance & Maintenance: Ensure the villa meets health and safety standards, schedule maintenance, and manage estate infrastructure.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent the brand during guest interactions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hospitality, luxury property, or villa management
- Confident in managing kitchen logistics, event planning, budgeting, and staff supervision
- Able to maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness, and operational excellence
- Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and irregular hours based on guest schedules
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
- Strong administrative skills and familiarity with food safety standards
