Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Employment Equity and BBBEE Specialist/Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing and implementing the Employment Equity (EE) and Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in compliance, reporting, and strategy development related to employment equity and BBBEE, ensuring that the company meets its legal obligations while promoting diversity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
Employment Equity Management:
Coordinate and implement the company''s Employment Equity plan in alignment with the Employment Equity Act. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Employment Equity requirements. Develop and manage action plans to address employment equity targets and goals. Provide guidance on EE policy, procedures, and best practices to all levels of staff and management. Maintain and update EE compliance file Facilitate the formation and meetings of the Employment Equity Committee, ensuring collaboration across all departments. Prepare and submit Employment Equity reports to the Department of Employment and Labour within deadlines. Continuously review and improve our EE processes by undertaking regular reviews and assisting in reviews, administrative systems, and procedures. Custodianship of EE data in accordance with the EEA
BBBEE Compliance and Strategy:
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the companys BBBEE strategy in alignment with the latest BBBEE codes and requirements. Identify opportunities for improving the B-BBEE rating across all elements of the scorecard. Monitor and track BBBEE scorecard performance across all relevant pillars (ownership, management control, skills development, etc.). Prepare and submit annual B-BBEE reports and verification documentation.
