Reporting to: Site Manager
The above position is vacant at Menlyn Mall reporting to the Site Managers. The overall purpose to ensure the smooth, efficient, and secure operation of control room activities by managing personnel, systems, and procedures that monitor and respond to real-time events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Grade A PSIRA (SOB) registered and accredited, with traceable references
- Own reliable transport.
- Fire Fighting trained.
- First Aid trained.
- Computer Literacy in MS Office, CCTV, etc
- Strong organizational skills, as well as good interpersonal communication and liaison skills are essential.
- Must be able to work under pressure and for extended hours as and when required.
- Work independently and within a team.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the security industry Control room
- Fluent in English
- No criminal record
- Must be reliable and trustworthy
Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):
- Managing of the control room personnel in all aspects of the control room
- Updating the incident register on a daily basis as well
- Able to exercise and maintain discipline.

- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Numerical accuracy.
- High methodical working methods are required.

- Ability to liaise professionally with personnel at all levels.
- Ability to work without supervision and under pressure.
