Description:
- Purchasing of all consumables, PPE, hardware, stationary etc.
- Create purchase orders for consumables, PPE, material/buy-outs, machine repairs, hardware, groceries/stationery and maintenance
- Follow up with suppliers if awaiting any deliveries
- Negotiate better pricing
- Receive tool/equipment requisitions from the workshop and issue tools/equipment if needed
- Issuing of nozzles for Profile/Plasma/Laser machines
- Spot check stock levels in yard twice a week
- Monthly nozzle stock take – type up stock on spread sheet and send to finance department
- Assist Senior Buyer where required
