Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and updated employee's information on the payroll system and personnel files Filing Administration of new and transferred employees, Open new employee files, contracts, and job descriptions Attend to ad-hoc staff queries, processing, and payment Maintain the Uniclox system and ensure accurate clocking procedures are adhered to Filling all correspondence and scanning to relevant drives, Sage people system, and personnel files Administration of terminated employees Compiling of termination documents ie UIF, Certificate of Service, MIBFA, Sick fund Capture weekly hours from the timecard system (Uniclox) into an Excel Spreadsheet and reconcile hours Process and reconcile weekly wages, capture weekly deductions i.e., garnishee orders, union, MIBFA, insurance, and any other personnel and statutory deductions Prepare and finalization of weekly payroll before 14h00 on Wednesdays Printing, filing, and balancing of weekly reports and payslips Capture, process, and reconcile salaries, capture monthly hours from the timecard system onto the payroll Administration, reconciliation, and monthly payments of garnishee orders, insurance, union, medical aid, and monthly provisions for bonus and leave Printing digitally, balancing, and filing monthly salary reports and payslips Maintain realistic workload and deliverable dates for tasks Costing and payment schedule for management and accounts Prepare and finalization of monthly payrolls by the 23rd of the month Capture all personnel entries on Sage People Reconcile Feb Tax year-end and Mid-Year (August) Reconciliations and submit them to HR manager Print and compile the company's Financial year-end reports for auditors Any other supplementary task or duty thats reasonably necessary to carry out the main function or duty Assist HR Manager as and when required Education requirements
NQF Level 4/ Grade 12 Completed mathematics and/or bookkeeping with a diploma in Office Administration Sage 300 People (Payroll 1&2; Payroll Recon, Tax year End, People Lead and Personnel Management) Experience Requirements
