ð? Industry: Small but Thriving Electronic Manufacturing Firm
ð??° Salary: R 450 000 R 550 000 CTC per annum (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage stock accounting processes, inventory reconciliations, and stock variance reporting Maintain accurate records of stock movement, adjustments, and costing Assist with the full accounting function including AP, AR, bank recons, and GL maintenance Support the month-end and year-end close, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations Collaborate closely with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure financial alignment with physical stock Assist with the preparation of management reports, budgets, and forecasts Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations Support audits and maintain robust internal controls
Requirements:
BCom Degree in Accounting or a similar qualification Minimum of 35 years accounting experience, with strong exposure to stock and inventory Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment High proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting systems (Sage, Pastel, or similar) Excellent understanding of costing principles, inventory control, and financial reporting Accurate, analytical, and hands-on with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced SME environment
