Our client in the manufacturing sector is on the hunt for a Factory/Production Manager to lead their operations, improve efficiency, and drive performance on the factory floor. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily production planning and execution to meet targets and quality standards
- Lead and manage factory teams, including supervisors, machine operators, and general staff
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost control, and operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with supply chain, warehouse, and quality teams to align production goals
- Monitor equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and downtime tracking
- Analyse production data and report on KPIs, output, and labour performance
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or production industry
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and quality control systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset
- Knowledge of production software systems and reporting tools
- A qualification in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or relevant field is advantageous
