CNC LASER PROGRAMMER
SPP Lasercut, a fast-growing, well-established sheet metal components and manufacturing company, is looking to hire a skilled and experienced CNC Laser Programmer willing to work rotational shifts. (Night Shift) The position entails creating, posting and programming multiple Bystronic CNC Laser cutters at the Bellville and Epping branches.
- Distinguish between various material types, grades and thickness.
- Follow the assigned job card/ project/ instruction.
- Read, interpret and correct client drawings for the programming process.
- Continuous job flow, to machines /production.
- Ability to program, to ensure deadlines and delivery dates are met.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to complete tasks accurately and prioritise under pressure.
- To work independently and as part of a team.
- Be self-disciplined.
- To support programmers, operators, and dispatch sorters to achieve production success.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work rotational shifts, which include mainly night shift work .
- Own reliable transport is essential.

- Cnc Laser Programmer: 3 to 4 years
- Program Using Bystronic Software: 3 to 4 years
- Knowledge Of CAD Software/CNC Laser Programming Software.: 3 to 4 years
- Relevant Tertiary Experience.: 3 to 4 years
- Engineering Supervisory Experience.: 3 to 4 years
Ability to utilise draughting software- AUTOCAD / SOLIDWORX / INVENTOR, etc.
Ability to fully operate a Bystronic laser.
Ability to drive a forklift. Having a forklift License will be advantageous.
Relevant Tertiary Experience.
Matric / Senior certificate.
Computer literate - MS Office.
Knowledge of CAD Software/CNC laser programming software.
Ability to program a CNC laser. Preferably, Bystronic using BYSOFT CAM software.
3+ years of experience in CNC Laser programming within a metal manufacturing industry.
Engineering Supervisory experience.
Salaries will be discussed based on experience and skill .
