Ndlovu Care Group is currently looking for motivated candidates for Ndlovu Medical Trust in Groblersdal, Limpopo:
Position: Bookkeeper
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Diploma or B.Com in Accounting / Financial Management
· Minimum of two years’ experience in a bookkeeping or junior accounting role
· High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
· Experience using Sage Evolution or similar accounting software
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately, logically, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Valid driver’s licence
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payments Processing
· Capture payments on the online banking platform
· Ensure all bank accounts are adequately funded and update the cash report
· Administer and reconcile credit card transactions
2. Petty Cash Management
· Disburse petty cash in line with the policy and procedures
· Record all petty cash transactions in Sage Evolution
· Always maintain sufficient petty cash balances
3. Document Management and Order System
· Scan and upload compliant supporting documents to the Purchase Order System
· Follow up on outstanding or non-compliant documentation
4. Recording of Accounting Transactions
· Review supporting documents for compliance prior to capturing
· Record transactions accurately in Sage Evolution
· Perform reconciliations and quality checks to ensure accuracy of accounting records
5. Internal Controls and Audits
· File financial documentation in accordance with statutory and donor requirements
· Retrieve required documents for audits
· Assist with the implementation of internal controls on assigned projects
