We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our client and drive growth in their warehousing and distribution department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development within the warehousing and distribution industry.Responsibilities :

Generate new leads consistently to support business development goals.

Analyze data to inform strategy and decision-making processes.

Formulate business cases to support new opportunities and initiatives.

Ensure strict adherence to SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) compliance standards.

Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, self-motivation, and confidence in task execution.

Submit monthly lead generation updates to Head of Department (HOD) and/or Senior Management.
-
Prepare and present quarterly and annual performance reports to the HOD.
-
Maintain and update sales pipeline reports to reflect current progress.
-
Accept supervision from immediate manager when required, ensuring alignment with expectations.
-
Meet targets aligned with the company’s growth plan and provide regular project status updates.
-
Measure targets against budgeted expenses and monitor market trends through intelligence reports.
Requirements:

BCom in Logistics or an equivalent qualification.
-
Hold a valid driver’s license.
-
Bring 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role within the supply chain solutions environment.

Demonstrate extensive knowledge and proven experience in new business development.

Skilled in identifying opportunities and initiating innovative, value-driven solutions.

Capable of designing solutions that enhance the value chain from post-production to final delivery execution.
