Description:

Hire Resolve's client is a leading player in the agriculture industry, committed to sustainable farming practices and the development of human capital as a key strategic pillar. They are seeking a seasoned Executive Manager: Remuneration and Benefits to join their dynamic executive team in Cape Town .

Position Overview:

As the Executive Manager: Remuneration and Benefits, you will play a critical strategic role in leading and managing total rewards, compensation structures, and employee benefits frameworks to ensure alignment with business goals, industry benchmarks, and talent attraction and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage competitive and equitable remuneration and benefits policies across the organization.

  • Lead the design of total rewards strategies that support business objectives and enhance employee engagement.

  • Oversee job grading, salary benchmarking, and executive compensation plans.

  • Advise executive leadership and the board remuneration committee on best practices and regulatory compliance.

  • Conduct regular market analysis to maintain competitive positioning in remuneration structures.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws, tax legislation, and industry regulations.

  • Manage relationships with external remuneration consultants and benefits providers.

  • Champion pay equity, diversity, and transparency in reward structures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in remuneration, rewards, and benefits, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role.

  • Proven experience within the agriculture, manufacturing, or related sectors will be advantageous.

  • Strong understanding of South African labour law and global compensation trends.

  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • High level of integrity, discretion, and strategic thinking.
