Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Oversight: Lead the full financial function across a portfolio of businesses, ensuring revenue completeness, cost management, and accurate month-end close processes.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Drive budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling; provide insight to senior stakeholders for decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, auditors, and procurement departments.
- Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance; streamline reporting processes to improve accuracy and turnaround.
- Team & Process Leadership: Manage finance operations, coach junior staff, and lead the coordination of accounting functions including debtors, creditors, payroll, and general ledger.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: BCom in Accounting and/or Finance (or equivalent financial degree).
- Experience: Minimum of 68 years in a finance leadership role managing end-to-end finance operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong general ledger knowledge, financial systems literacy, and advanced Excel skills essential.
