Key Responsibilities:Cost Analysis & ReportingPrepare and analyze cost reports, identifying trends and areas for cost reduction.Conduct variance analysis to compare actual costs against budgets and forecasts.Provide actionable recommendations on cost-saving initiatives.Inventory & Production CostingMonitor and evaluate inventory costs, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.Implement standard costing and ensure accurate product costing.Support stock valuation and control processes.Budgeting & ForecastingAssist in the preparation of cost budgets and forecasts.Monitor and track cost performance against budgeted targets.Financial Control & ComplianceEnsure adherence to cost accounting standards and internal controls.Support internal and external audits by providing cost-related data.Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.Process Improvement & EfficiencyIdentify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reduction.Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to streamline cost management processes. Requirements:- Proven experience in cost accounting or similar financial roles.
- Strong knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting and financial reporting.
- Experience with inventory management and production costing.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
