Job Title: Winch Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Winch Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating winches to lift and move heavy materials or equipment. The Winch Operator will ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate winches to lift and move heavy materials or equipment
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Inspect winch equipment for any defects or malfunctions
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of winches as needed
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a winch operator or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in winch operation or related field
- Previous experience in a Mining environment
