Description:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly flash reports to support strategic planning and financial oversight
Conduct Gross Profit (GP) analysis to track performance and identify areas for improvement
Compile and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals, contributing to long-term sustainability and growth
Manage and approve credit notes, ensuring all adjustments are properly authorised and recorded
Monitor cash flow, working capital, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights and actionable recommendations to improve financial stability
Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, statutory requirements, and internal controls
Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives while optimising financial performance across departments
Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance
Provide cross-functional business support, offering financial insights and advice to operational teams
Review and analyse payroll data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with budgets
Oversee cashbook management and daily banking operations
Conduct annual rate reviews and implement pricing adjustments as necessary
Lead and supervise the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Manage debtors age analysis and invoice submissions, maintaining effective credit control
Oversee allocation of payments and receipts to ensure account accuracy
Approve customer credit limits and credit notes based on risk assessment and company policy
Manage intercompany creditor accounts, ensuring timely reconciliation and settlement
Review payments and reconciliations for all third-party creditors, maintaining strong vendor relationships and avoiding late penalties
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience
Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, and analysis
Proven ability to drive strategic financial decision-making
Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Qualification:
Degree
Minimum 5 -8 years experience
