Minimum requirements:

• BEng (Engineering) or BSc degree in Data Science/Programming.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in data analysis or development.
• Proficient in working with multiple datasets from different sources with a strong understanding of how to leverage existing tools to solve data-related problems.
• Experience in data cleaning, aggregation and automating repetitive data processing using software tools.
• MS Excel

Responsibilities:

• SQL Development: Write efficient SQL queries to solve problems and add technical features. Develop and implement automated reporting solutions.
• Data flows: Evaluate, optimise and implement improvements to data flow architecture.
• Research and investigations into energy, water, load shedding, municipal utility tariffs, etc
• Updating and creating technical documentation.
