Unlock Your Potential! We’re looking for a passionate JUNIOR BRAND MANAGER with a strong eye for detail to join I&J Head Office in Woodstock, Cape Town . In this role, you will be responsible in assisting with the marketing and commercialization of fish, chicken and beef products.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to : Marketing Manager
Key Areas of Impact:
- Co-ordinate the digital strategy and content on various social media platforms in collaboration with the AVI digital team to maximize Return on Investment (ROI)
- Contribute to the development of brand plans. Considering the following:
- Strategic directive
- Market parameters
- Company resources
- Provide executional support for new product developments.
- Ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with the marketing and brand strategy.
- Prepare promotional, advertising and media briefs.
- Contribute to the development of marketing assets and collaterals to support retail and food service, including product catalogues, sales incentive programs, point of sales and promotional items.
- Liaise with external suppliers like:
- Promotional advertising agencies
- Sponsorship beneficiaries
- Packaging suppliers
- Monitor market conditions and competitor activities like trade visits and interaction with sales and customers.
- Manage and coordinate internal marketing initiatives which include screensavers, notice boards, internal product launches and competitions.
What It Takes to Succeed:
Experience that set you up for success:
- Minimum 2 years' work experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:
- BCom Degree in Marketing or Business Management is required.
Additional Requirements that will enhance your impact for success:
- Willing to work on weekends for activations and events on an ad hoc basis
- Valid driver’s license with own vehicle is required
