Reporting to: National Project Sales ManagerPurpose of Position:
The position requires a skilled Project Sales Engineer, who will be fundamental for the company's external customer support, ensuring achievement of their revenue growth objectives. Comfortable in receiving calls, working with key partners, generating sales interest, and closing sales deals. Based in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities defined but not limited to the below:
Developing and implementing business strategy in conjunction with management
Maintain and grow existing customers
On-board and develop new customers in consultation with the National Project Sales Manager
Provide technical and service support to customers
Provide technical support to regional sales representatives
Grow sales from customers assigned to you while maintaining ethical standards in accordance with the company's policies and ethics.
Increase project quote intake and hit rate
Manage customer accounts
Assist engineering and design office with designs and systems layout
Grow sales to achieve or exceed monthly/annual targets
Visit new and existing customers with the aim of growing / sustain the company's business.
Sales forecasting
Attend training courses.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements Qualification and Experience:Matric
Preferable – BEng, BSc, BTech Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering.
Preferable 5 - 10 years’ experience within engineering and/or customer services environment.
Preferable good working knowledge of Fluid Power and/or mining equipment.
Driver’s License.
English spoken fluently and written.
Microsoft Office.
