Job descriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage the end-to-end process of receiving, procurement, and quality control within our shopfitting manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that materials and components are sourced cost-effectively, received accurately, and meet our quality standards. Strong administrative and computer skills are essential for maintaining accurate records, processing orders, and ensuring seamless communication across departments.
Procurement
Source and purchase raw materials, hardware, and consumables required for production. Obtain and compare supplier quotes, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality. Raise and process purchase orders accurately and promptly using ERP or procurement systems. Liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery timelines, resolve order discrepancies, and maintain good working relationships. Monitor stock levels and anticipate material needs based on production schedules.Receiving
Receive and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes. Record and reconcile received goods accurately in the system. Report and follow up on any shortages, damages, or incorrect items. Coordinate with warehouse and production teams for timely distribution of materials.Quality Control
Conduct visual and measurement-based inspections on raw materials and components. Identify and report non-conforming products to the supplier or relevant internal teams. Maintain records of quality inspections, including photos, test reports, and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer specifications.Administration & Systems
Maintain detailed and up-to-date procurement, receiving, and quality records. Use spreadsheets, inventory management systems, and other digital tools proficiently. Generate reports on stock movement, supplier performance, and quality trends. Assist in developing and updating SOPs and documentation relevant to procurement and receiving functions.Requirements:
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment (preferably shopfitting). Excellent computer skills – proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with ERP/inventory systems is advantageous. Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement. High attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset. Knowledge of quality control standards and practices in a production environment.Desirable:
