Description:
Primary Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Maintenance Group Leader, this position requires the services of an individual to perform maintenance installations on hydraulic/mechanical presses, industrial robots, and spot-welding guns, as well as project installations. The role also involves the maintenance and optimization of all vision systems.
Key Performance Areas:
- Repair and maintain robots to ensure customer and company quality standards are met
- Perform fault finding and preventative maintenance as per the maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant work instructions
- Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data
- Ensure that company procedures, work instructions, and quality systems are always adhered to
- Participate actively in the departmental M2S as per company requirements
- Ensure that work practices comply with company SHEQ procedures and work instructions
- Repair, maintain, and optimize all vision systems for press shops and assembly

- Extensive working knowledge of:
- PLC Programming
- Siemens S7, TIA
- W&R Systems
- Vision Tools and In-Sight
