Our client, a large consulting company with offices across South Africa, is looking for a Civil Engineer / Technologist to join their growing team in Port Elizabeth!
What you will need:
- BEng/B.Tech Degree at an accredited institution in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in design
- Proficiency in Civil 3D
- Proficiency in Idas and BIM360 will be an advantage
- Understands the principles of the design process and how design is translated into deliverables through the use of software tools
Your responsibilities will include:
- Management of small projects
- Write technical reports
- Skill transfer to junior personnel
- Draft bid responses
- Price estimations
- Quality control throughout the project life cycle
- Ensure that appropriate technical standards and quality assurance requirements are adhered to
- Apply a deeper understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems
