Description:
A Corporate Retailer has a vacancy for a Fashion Department Manager in the Vaal. Deliver exceptional customer service through maximising selling opportunities for allocated Clothing and Home area. Excecuting operational excellence, driving availability of stock and developing a motivated team.
Ensure departmental sales are in line with agreed budgets.
Manage weekly and seasonal store sales plan and implement trading notes for allocated area.
Give input to customer profiles and timeously communicate updates to Line Manager.
Ensure Clothing and Home stock inventory processes are implemented in allocated area.
Ensure store disciplines are in place, ie ticketing, adjacencies, rack alignment, hangers, housekeeping.
Stock room managment.
Merchandising.
Drive stock availability.
Maximise promotional and special events.
Complete risk audit.
Ensure timeous replenishment of merchandise.
Manage, develop, train and recruit staff.
Conduct performance and development discussions.
Manage stock loss and shrinkage.
Opening and closing procedures.
Requirements:
Matric.
Previous retail experience within a managerial capacity.
Previous fashion retail experience.
Ability to drive service levels.
Liaise at all levels.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong managerial abilities.
Ability to attend alarm call outs.
Own car.
